Center of Hope Partners with Pure Functional Medicine to provide a very specialized service called Neurofeedback Therapy. Neurofeedback, also called EEG Biofeedback is a state-of-the-art, non-invasive, drugless method for teaching the brain to function in a more balanced and healthful way. A simple and pleasant learning modality that can help shift the way the brain produces and distributes its electrical energy. Four divisions of electrical impulses made by our brain, Delta, Theta, Alpha and Beta are called “Frequency Bands”. These Frequency Bands tell us which parts of your brain are active and which frequency bands the brain should be using to complete a given task, activity or should be most active during different states of mind. Parent Coaching is a program specifically designed for the parent. This program is unlike that of typical family services (in-home, life coach, etc.) as it is set up specifically for the parent and their needs. The goal of parent coaching is to help meet the identified need/needs of the parent through education, connection and support.
Center of Hope offers comprehensive trauma assessments designed to gather historical and current information to determine impacts of childhood, adolescent and adult traumas and the reactions to such. Through connection with the individual, the assessor is able to identify what areas of the client’s life has been specifically traumatic. Along with this, assessment tools are utilized to better gauge intensity and degree of trauma. Recommendations following assessment are provided to help service the referral agency as well as the client on further steps to pursue in supporting the needs of the identified client.
Center of Hope offers comprehensive parenting and attachment assessments designed to better understand relationship between parent and child, as well as presence of any attachment style issues. Through connection with the parent, the assessor utilizes a variety of tool. Most beneficial tool utilized within this style of assessment is the Marschak Interaction Method (MIM). The MIM is a clinical tool used for structured observation of the interaction between parent and child used to assess the quality of their relationship for purposed of parent guidance and treatment. Recommendations following assessment are provided to help service the referral agency as well as the parent on further steps to pursue in supporting the parent and child.
Circle of Security: The Circle of Security program is a 10 week, relationship-based early intervention program designed to enhance attachment security between parents and children. This is not your typical parenting class, and is designed specifically to help support parents through education, connection and kindness.
